Advanced Covert
Drilling Course

This course builds on the fundamentals of operational drilling operations and teaches the
skills required for drilling tasks outside the scope of manual drilling. It enables the successful
deployment of audio equipment within a range of building materials and in particular
reinforced concrete.
Run over four days. This course introduces advanced drilling techniques. A range of
equipment is used including the Gamma electro-magnetic powered drilling system.

ATTENDEES
It is suitable for officers and operational technicians with experience in covert operations. It
is equally suited for both covert drilling tasks and siege response. These skills have been
proven to significantly increase a TSU's ability to provide audio product in difficult and
challenging environments.

REQUIREMENTS
Potential students should have attended the Basic Covert
Drilling course.
